5 Warm, Insanely Quick, and Free Blanket Knitting Patterns

Fly through a snuggly blanket project with one of these five fast and free blanket knitting patterns

Quick blanket knitting patterns

To me, few knitting projects are as satisfying as blankets. They’re especially enjoyable in progress on a cold winter’s day!

The downside to the delight of the blanket is that knitting one can take an awfully long time. The process of knitting some larger blanket patterns can require a couple of months’ work. If you’re knitting to create a gift or for charity, that length of time can feel agonizing.

But it doesn’t have to be that way! If you use big, chunky needles and thick, bulky yarn, you can create a beautiful, cuddly blanket for anyone in half the time.

Below you’ll find a collection of free knitting patterns that use big needles and bulky yarn. You’ll also find links to enable you to order both big needles and/or bulky yarn.
