I believe you can find someone who needs what you love to knit.
(And I can show you how!)
Imagine…
Instead of feeling frustrated because no one seems to want what you enjoy knitting… you know exactly how to find such a group.
Instead of wishing you could support a group of people who are significant to your heart… you have one, and you love knitting for them.
Instead of watching the pile in your house get higher and higher while you try and figure out who to take them to… you regularly donate because you know exactly where your knitting will go.
Hi! I’m Nicole Haschke, your guide to charity knitting

I picked up knitting needles for the first time back in 2007 and became obsessed almost immediately.
It wasn’t long till I wanted to use my hobby to help people, but I didn’t really know how to do so.
I discovered the Knitting Nuggets Newsletter shortly thereafter, thanks to a fellow knitting friend; after about six
months of receiving this newsletter, I learned that the owner, Kyla Quinlan, was looking for someone to help with it.
I became the newsletter’s writer, and over the next couple of years, I became a pro at finding information about knitting charities.
When Kyla was ready to move on to other ventures, she offered me the chance to take over the newsletter (and its website Knitting for Charity), and I jumped at the opportunity.
Since then, I’ve continued to learn more about finding knitting charities, and I’ve become almost as obsessed with helping other charity knitters as I am with knitting itself!
